We with differing addictions and behaviours, to life itself, we need an alternative to the recovery norm

We with differing addictions and behaviours, to life itself, we need an alternative to the recovery norm which is stuck in a destructive rut. Anyone who lives honestly, aligned with truth and with an authentic identity, has differentiated from their trauma-based recovery family and from the conventional norm. Such people are a great asset in recovery to its deepest purpose. The addiction variations are part of evolution’s quest for a coping strategy, to offset the pain and anguish of living within a profoundly sick society.
Changing addictions for the un-recovered is a substitute for inner work. We who have not done our internal homework have a damning effect on recovery. There is a limit to the amount of negativity we can absorb—physically and metaphysically. We need the new template of the stages.
We need a strong, new variation on the theme of being addicted. We need a new orientation towards understanding the addict and their lack of contact with the raging child within.
